Our Projects

Get Involved Foundation is developing its first projects in two geographical areas.

Our projects are selected according to the needs of the people involved, the expected public benefit, the availability of resources and the suitability and reliability of local partners.

NORTHWEST BALI, INDONESIA

Our initial focus in Northwest Bali is on supporting people and families living in disadvantaged circumstances.

Potential activities include:

  • scholarships for children and young people;

  • school fees and school-related expenses;

  • books, computers and other educational materials;

  • support for schools and educational facilities;

  • community education initiatives;

  • support for personal development and self-reliance;

  • support for carefully selected small-scale economic initiatives.

Where appropriate, we may work together with local organisations, schools, community groups and other trusted partners.

LIMA, PERU

Our initial activities in and around Lima will focus particularly on children and young people living in disadvantaged circumstances.

Potential activities include:

  • scholarships and educational support;

  • school materials and learning resources;

  • support for educational facilities;

  • assistance to suitable local organisations;

  • support for children through schools, community organisations or other appropriate institutions;

  • projects that contribute to wellbeing, personal development and future opportunities.

Supporting Organisations

Get Involved Foundation may also provide financial, material or other support to suitable organisations whose activities contribute to our objectives.

These organisations may include:

  • charitable foundations;

  • schools;

  • community organisations;

  • NGOs;

  • social organisations;

  • children's organisations;

  • health or welfare organisations.

A partner does not need to have Dutch ANBI status. However, the foundation will only provide support where the proposed activities are consistent with our objectives and where the use of our resources can be appropriately monitored and accounted for.

Future Projects

Depending on available resources, local needs and suitable partners, Get Involved Foundation may support additional projects in the Netherlands and internationally.

Responsible Project Selection

Before supporting a project or organisation, we aim to consider factors including:

  • the needs of the intended beneficiaries;

  • the expected public benefit;

  • the suitability of the proposed activities;

  • the reliability of the organisation or partner;

  • the proposed use of funds;

  • the ability to monitor and report on the project;

  • relevant legal, financial and integrity considerations.

Our objective is to ensure that available resources are used responsibly and for their intended public benefit.
